Mile High coffee from Papua New Guinea is cultivated near Kainantu in the Eastern Highlands, where small farms at 1,600 meters elevation support thousands of local families. These farms, often part of the Arokara Cooperative, prioritize sustainable, chemical-free growing methods and regularly refine their practices. The beans are washed and lightly fermented, resulting in a consistently clean cup with a balanced sweetness that doesn’t overpower the flavor profile.
